Lecturer in Sculpture
After doing his BFA (Sculpture) from College of Fine Arts, Trivandrum (Kerala) in 2007 Naquash V. went on to University of Hyderabad to pursue MFA from SN School of Arts & Communications. After completing his post-graduation (2009) he attended the residency program at Kanoria Centre for Art (2010). His figurative representations in sculpture and paintings capture the horrors of war and conflict. He uses the tropes of imaginary activities, science fiction and fantasy to depict the gruesomeness of conflicts. He is currently collaborating with an audio/visual project named Aerate Sound with Joe Panicker. He is the creator of Chingu pen which was initiated from College of FIne arts Kerala. Currently he is working as a Lecturer in Sculpture, Department of Sculpture, College of Fine Arts Kerala, Trivandrum. His works have been exhibited at Knots at Vadodara (2015) ,SITE art space, Vadodara, Gujarat (2014), MNF Art Gallery, Kochi, Kerala (2013); Durbar Art Gallery, Kochi, Kerala (2013), etc.
